Simple Living Isn’t Always

After two months off, and less writing than I had hoped for, I’m back at blogging. I plan to talk a bit for the next few days about what I’ve written, how and why, and the pain of the writing process.

For the moment, I’m at a classical education conference in Memphis, TN. Friends may know that I’m the headmaster of this school, so a week with teachers new and returning has been good. We’ve explored the foundations of classical education through the lens of some really good books, enjoyed fellowship with some good new friends, and recharged my spiritual batteries. I’m excited about the year ahead, and grateful for God’s help through last year.
