From the pipe organ’s drone on “Intervention,” to the haunting lyrics of “Neon Bible” (”Take the poison of your age, / Don’t lick your fingers when you turn the page, / It was wrong but you said it was right, / In the future I will read at night.”), it’s a mesmerizing show. It reminded me how much I liked their album Neon Bible. I’m listening to it now.
