I occasionally read Cathy Seipp’s irreverent blog, Cathy’s World, and almost always read her National Review Online column, “From the Left Coast.”
She died of lung cancer on Wednesday, and funeral was Friday.
What made Cathy so much fun to read was her ability to write about virtually any subject, and speak smartly and straightforwardly about it. Her writing amused and dismayed as necessary, and I don’t think I read a single boring column. She will be missed.
