Today’s the 303rd anniversary of Jonathan Edwards’ birth. Couldn’t let it pass without mention, especially after I said Happy Birthday to Dick Tracy.
I have a love-hate relationship with Edwards. I’m not sure the American continent has produced a finer theological mind. On the other hand, the current Reformed hullabaloo notwithstanding, I have an on-again-off-again affair with the theology he espoused and propagated.
